Wolfreton is a vibrant, happy and ambitious school where students can thrive. As part of The Consortium Academy Trust, we are ambitious about the future – creating learning environments and excellence in teaching and learning that provide our children and young people with the best chance at a successful future.
We are a large, successful secondary school serving the Haltemprice area of the East Riding of Yorkshire. As a community of almost 1400 students, including a Sixth Form of over 130, young people can enjoy expert teaching, excellent care and a wealth of opportunities — whilst achieving strong results at both GCSE and A Level. Generations of families have chosen Wolfreton, and many more travel to join our community, where we believe the best is yet to come. Our values — Excellence, Endeavour and Respect — are known as The Wolfreton Way. They capture our high aspirations, our determination to give every child the very best, and our belief in working together to achieve success.

Mohib achieved fabulous results including an A in Maths, A in Chemistry and B in Biology. He will now go on to study Maths at York. Mohib said ''As someone who can be easily distracted, I really valued the way my teachers knew me well and helped keep me focused on my goals. Over time, those close connections created a supportive environment where I felt encouraged, challenged and guided to achieve my best. The careers advice I received was particularly helpful in shaping my next steps, and I was encouraged to take part in a maths challenge in Year 12, which strengthened my interest in studying at the University of York. From the direction and support I received to the academic challenge that pushed me to aim higher, it proved to be the perfect choice for me.''
Amelia achieved amazing results, an A* in English Literature, A in Art, B in History and an A in her EPQ which examined ''Witchcraft - sexism or religious anxiety?''. She now goes on to study English Literature at Durham University. Amelia said she loved her time at The Consortium Sixth Form College's Wolfreton Campus. "The smaller class sizes meant I always felt genuinely known and valued as an individual. The college has such a close-knit community, and the support from staff was exceptional throughout my time there. Alongside my studies, I had the opportunity to take part in several drama productions and serve as a student ambassador, experiences that helped me grow in confidence and develop valuable skills. Combined with the care, encouragement and guidance I received, these opportunities have left me feeling well prepared and excited for the next chapter at university." @consortium6form
