We are ambitious for our students and, importantly, know and share their individual hopes for the future. The most academically able benefit from our Ad Astra programme, which ensures that they have the breadth of experience and quality of support to apply to Oxbridge or Russell Group institutions should they choose to, or to study in specialist fields including medicine, dentistry ot architecture. Students also take part in the HE+ project. The overall goal of the project is to encourage and prepare more academically-able students to make competitive applications to top universities, including the University of Cambridge. Taking part in the project gives students many opportunities to develop their academic skills, understanding, and confidence, while also receiving advice and guidance about applying to higher education.
