Mock Exams
During 2024 – 2025 these are scheduled as follows:
Sixth Form (Year 13) Monday 30 September – Friday 4 October 2024
Sixth form (Year 12 and 13) Monday 20 January – Friday 24 January 2025
Year 11 mock exams ‘Wave 1’ - Monday 21 October – Thursday 24 October 2024
‘Wave 2’ - Monday 10 February – Friday 28 February 2025
NB no exams during half term (17 - 21 February 2025).
Year 10 mock exams Monday 16 June – Friday 27 June 2025
Internal Exams
Year 12 Week beginning 9 June 2025
Year 9 Week Beginning 2 June 2025
Year 8 Week Beginning 9 June 2025
Year 7 Week Beginning 2 June 2025
Year 10, Year 11 mock exams (Wave 2) and Sixth Form January mock exams will be held under exam conditions, invigilated by the invigilation team. All other exams will be held in classrooms during timetabled lessons and will be invigilated by the relevant teachers
External exams
External exams will take place from 8 May to 25 June 2025. All exam boards have now issued their summer 2025 timetables on the public websites.
Exam timetables
Individual exam timetables will be given to candidates in late February. It is the responsibility of the student to let the Exams Officer know of any errors or omissions on their timetable.
Results
Candidates will receive individual results slips on results days, either
- in person at the centre or
- given to another person provided that person brings written permission provided by the candidate to release the results, and the named person brings in photographic evidence of their ID; or
- by post to their home address where candidates have requested this and provided a stamped, addressed A5 (16cm x 23cm) envelope to the Student Reception before the end of the school term, Friday 19 July. Results are posted on results day, so will not be received until the following day; or
- By email to the candidate’s school email address where candidates have requested this. Results will be sent by email after 1pm on results days.
The results slip will be in the form of a centre produced document. Candidates will also receive information regarding the Enquiries about results services (EARs) offered by the exam boards.
Uncollected results slips will then be available for collection from the reception.
Results Days
The dates for Results Days in Summer 2025 are:
A Level: Thursday 14 August. Results will be available for collection by Year 13 and Year 14 students from 8:30am. Vocational unit exam results will be available for collection by Year 12 students from 10:30am.
GCSE: Thursday 21 August. Results will be available for collection by Year 11 students from 9am.
Please note that no results will be given any earlier than the times stated above.
