Remote Education
In exceptional circumstances, in the event a child is unable to attend school, we follow the DfE’s guidance on providing remote education. The school may make learning resources available via student’s Microsoft Teams accounts and the online learning resources we subscribe to. Wolfreton also makes use of the Oak National Academy to support the delivery of remote learning where appropriate.
As a school, we are only able to consider providing remote education to students in line with government guidance. This means in the following circumstances:
· School closures or restrictions on attendance, where school access for students is restricted.
· Individual cases where a student is unable to attend school but is able to learn (Please note these circumstances are limited and almost always guided by medical professionals).
Online Learning Resources
All students are given their usernames and passwords when they join the school. These are reissued at the start of each year. Most of our online platforms use a single sign-on, meaning that students log on with their network username and password.
If your child can’t access an online resource, please contact their Pastoral Manager.
